Because it utilizes genuine hydraulic technology, the 750 is highly efficient and incredibly robust. The system is conceptually split into two parts: a heavy-duty CP hydraulic jack housed within an underground foundation box (which acts as the lower hinge of the gate), and a separate hydraulic pump unit. This modular design means the drive unit is simply installed without the need of ever removing the gate.
The FAAC 750 Pump Variations
The FAAC 750 system allows installers to select the perfect hydraulic pump based on the gate’s specific width and the required level of locking. Below are the three pump unit options:
FAAC 750 CBAC (Hydraulic Locking)
This pump features two-way hydraulic locking (both open and closed). It is the standard choice for smaller, heavier gates, supporting a maximum leaf length of 1.80 meters and up to 800 kg. Because the hydraulics lock the gate mechanically, there is no need to install an electric lock for security.
FAAC 750 SB (Without Locking)
The SB version is designed for slightly wider gates, pushing up to 2.50 meters per leaf. It operates without hydraulic locking, meaning it requires an external electric lock to secure the gate when closed. This is often preferred in high wind areas where the gate needs slight flexibility when shut to prevent hydraulic stress.
FAAC 750 SBS (Slow & Heavy Duty Without Locking)
The SBS is the powerhouse designed for very wide gates up to 3.50 meters per leaf. To safely move massive gates, the SBS pump operates with a reduced flow rate (0.5 l/min instead of 0.75 l/min), resulting in a slower angular velocity. This ensures smooth, controlled movement without whiplash. It also requires an external electric lock.

1. 100% Invisible Installation
The entire system is housed below ground in a foundation box equipped with a stainless steel cover. The automation system acts as the lower gate hinge, entirely hidden from view, making it the perfect solution for highly architectural or historic gates.
2. Incredible 800 Kg Capacity
Underground systems require immense torque, and the FAAC 750 delivers. Every version of this operator can easily swing leaves weighing up to 800 kg, supported by the steel foundation box.
3. Safe Anti-Crushing By-Pass Valves
The exclusive hydraulic pump unit features two highly sensitive mechanical by-pass valves. These directly control the hydraulic pressure, providing the ultimate anti-crushing protection by instantly slipping if an obstacle is met.
4. Continuous Lubrication
All internal components are integrated directly within the hydraulic circuit. This provides constant, high-grade lubrication and thermal cooling to all moving parts, significantly reducing wear and maintenance requirements.
5. 180° Opening Options
By default, the standard CP jack provides an opening angle up to 118°. However, FAAC also offers a specialized 180° CP jack configuration for installations where the gate needs to fold entirely back against a perimeter wall.
